Mexican Pizza





  • Ingredients

  • 6-8 ounces ground beef chuck
  • 2/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chunky mild salsa
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 4, 8-inch flour tortillas
  • 1 cup finely shredded mild cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese


Method:

Place crumbled ground chuck in nonstick skillet over medium heat add green pepper, onion, and salt cook stirring constantly until ground chuck is done, about 5 minutes add salsa and ketchup stir and continue cooking about 3 minutes lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray place tortillas on baking sheet spread beef mixture evenly on tortillas flatten mixture with back of large spoon sprinkle 1/4 cup of cheese on each pizza heat in 350 degree oven about 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
